Suugaku Joshi Gakuen Ep 3

Hello hello~

It's been awhile since my last blog post. University is starting to get busy as it is soon the season of midterms and I have many lab reports to write this semester. @.@

Onwards to the math drama that makes me happy! There is barely any math in this episode, but I guess it's made up for by the characters featured being some of my favourites in Hello! Project.

Episode 3 features Ookubo Fuyumi (played by Berryz Koubou member Sudou Maasa) and the Gluttony girls (played by the rest of Morning Musume's 9th gen: Fukumura Mizuki, Ikuta Erina, and Suzuki Kanon). The whole episode is about how Nina wants some tonkotsu ramen, but Fuyumi and the Gluttony girls buy all of it (and eat all of it) and so it ends up being sold out. Nina tries to buy the ramen earlier the next day, but she is still in the same situation. She challenges Fuyumi to a battle (for the tonkotsu ramen) which Fuyumi accepts, but one of the Gluttony girls fakes a stomach ache, causing Fuyumi to unintentionally avoid the battle for the day. Fuyumi is upset when she finds out that the girl was faking her stomach ache and then talks about a secret plan being set in motion.

The day after, Nina tries to get tonkotsu ramen, but it is no longer on the menu. The cafeteria lady says that they've changed their menu to a nationwide tour of ramen tasting, where 40+ different ramens from all over Japan will be available in the cafeteria and it was all Fuyumi's idea. Nina is pissed because she just wants her tonkotsu ramen, and re-challenges Fuyumi, who accepts without hesitation. Fuyumi states the terms of the battle as a race, where the first one to reach the cafeteria from the roof wins. Kazuki doesn't think this challenge to be particularly difficult, nor does he think that Fuyumi is particularly fast. Sayuri quickly corrects him saying that Fuyumi cannot be underestimated and since the goal is the cafeteria, Fuyumi will know all the shortcuts to get there as she does it every day to try and get the best foods.

Suugaku Joshi Gakuen Ep 2

Hello hello~

The 2nd episode of Suugaku Joshi Gakuen aired yesterday! I watched it twice (without subs though ^_^") and I'm a little disappointed with the situation they came up with for this episode. You'll see what I mean.

In this episode, a new girl is introduced named Shibuya Mami (played by Yajima Maimi, the leader of Morning Musume's younger sister group, ÂșC-ute). She is a fanatic about everything to do with detectives and solving crimes and walks around with handcuffs in her pocket. @.@ Her famous line is "Taiho shichauzo~", which roughly translates to "I'll arrest you~".

The situation for this week's episode is the following: a math test that was suppose to be given out that day is missing and was most likely stolen. Mami finds out that the last person to be in the teacher's office was Kazuki and since everyone knows Kazuki hates math, he would have the most motive to steal the tests. Kazuki, who was entranced by Mami while she accused him, is shocked that he is yet again accused of something he didn't do. An important detail to note is that only the test questions were stolen and not the answer key. If someone really wanted to cheat, they would either steal both or if they could only steal one item, then it would most likely be the answer key. So even though you could work out the test problems ahead of time, you might not necessarily get the right answers and in Kazuki's case, he wouldn't be benefiting much from this.

Suugaku Joshi Gakuen Ep 1

Hey everyone!

So a new drama featuring Hello!Project members recently came out called "Suugaku Joshi Gakuen". The drama is about a transfer student named Satou Kazuki, who hates math, but is accidentally transferred to an elite math school, which seems to be only filled with female students. ^_^"

In this first episode, you get a taste for the 2 female leads: Niina (played by Tanaka Reina, 6th generation Morning Musume member) and Sayuri (played by Michishige Sayumi, 6th generation Morning Musume member). Niina is extremely "my pace" and you find out that she's trying to become the Suugaku Banchou in order to figure out where her sister is (who disappeared after becoming Suugaku Banchou). Sayuri is a haughty student who dislikes Niina and wants everything to go her way. She claims to be the best mathematician in the class, but is eating her words (or losing her skirt) after Niina wins a math battle against her.

Happy New Years + Completed: 999 + 2012 Resolutions

Happy New Years everyone!
2011 is over and 2012 has just started. I hope 2012 will be a great year for everyone. :)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So last night, I finished the DS game "999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors". This is the first game I've ever finished on the DS and the second game I've ever finished so far (my first one being "Kingdom Hearts" on the PS2).

This game was absolutely amazing. It's a point-and-click game and is heavily text-based and you proceed through the game by solving puzzles through each of the rooms you enter.  I prefer these kinds of games where I don't need to be checking a walkthrough or strategy guide every few minutes to make sure I haven't forgotten anything. ^_^" (But I did have to check a walkthrough every once in awhile to make sure I answered correctly or when I was having trouble solving a puzzle.)

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!

Hi everyone,

It's been too long since I last updated my blog, but I've been really busy with school and I only finished my exams a few days ago. ^_^" I've been recuperating from lack of sleep since then and this year, I wanted to make sure that I posted a Christmas video for Christmas and not after like I did last year.

So here is my Christmas video/present to you all. Please enjoy!

What's up this Week?

Hi hi!

So it's my first full week of school. Five days is just too long. >.< I'm also starting to suffer from my usual "dozing off in class" syndrome after the 3rd week of school. I also start to get really hungry early in day, despite eating breakfast. I end up going through all my snacks, but my stomach continues to grumble. ^_^" It's embarrassing to try and hold your stomach to stop people from hearing it, but it usually doesn't help the situation. >.>

I also haven't had the time to practice any new songs and record them lately. @.@ I have a huge list just staring at me, but I just don't have the time and I'm slightly demotivated for the ones I've already started. I just need to get my morale up to get through these dances. Gambarimasu!

Here are my outfits for this week:

I really like the different purples in this outfit.

Fashionable?

Hello~

So school has started again. I'm not worried yet about studying for my classes, but more about what will I be wearing everyday. @.@

True, it's been several years since I've had to wear a uniform, but my options were limited then so it was simple to get dressed in the mornings. After high school, I always had the same formula when it came to what to wear everyday: shirt, jeans, hoodie, socks and running shoes (yes, running shoes). Very rarely did I accessorize with necklaces or earrings, but I always had a watch on me (although not particularly appealing, but it was in my favourite colour).

Since I'm in my last year of being an undergrad, I might as well make an effort to take the time to dress nicely for school. It did help that I finally did some intense clothes shopping after like... 4 years. ^_^" I did get new shirts every once in awhile, but from Costco and Old Navy primarily. >.>

Here are the outfits that I wore for school using clothes I bought recently:
I also bought "real shoes" (as one of my friends would say), so no chunky running shoes for me (I miss the comfort though >.<).
